UCTE/PSAC is pleased to confirm that, with the help of a federal conciliator, the members at Windsor Airport Authority have a ratified collective agreement.
Highlights of the 5-year deal include salary increases of a little less than 6% over the life time of the agreement as well as part-time employees now being able to participate in the pension plan. Members of Local 00012 had been without an agreement since June 2012.
“It was a very difficult round of bargaining,” said Christine Collins, UCTE National President. “Now we look forward to working with the employer to ensure that the terms of the agreement are implemented in a timely fashion.”
