If you have a natural knack for getting to the truth, UCTE needs you!
As a union, fairness is one of our core values. When conflicts or accusations of improper conduct arise, it’s important to have an investigative mechanism that can seek out the truth, while treating everyone as fairly as possible.
At UCTE, our investigation committees are staffed by volunteers who have undergone investigations training. As a committee, investigators examine evidence, hear testimony and render decisions.
We are currently looking for members who would be interested in becoming investigators and who can commit to three years in that position. UCTE will cover your travel and stay in Gatineau for a 3-day training session.
The investigators training session will be held from June 12 to June 15, immediately following the Local Leaders Conference, at the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec.
